Istanbul Başakşehir F.K. has officially partnered with City Football Group. The Turkish Süper Lig club announced the partnership agreement with City Football Group (CFG) on its official website. According to the statement from Başakşehir, 'City Football Group (CFG) and İstanbul Başakşehir FK (IBFK) have signed a football-focused partnership agreement.' As part of the agreement, CFG will provide consultancy services to İstanbul Başakşehir on long-term football strategy, player scouting, transfer, and education processes, as well as various football projects. CFG will also provide guidance on player transfer strategies, academy development, and the use of data-driven insights, with a focus on long-term planning and sustainability for İstanbul Başakşehir FK. City Football Group Executive Director Brian Marwood expressed his delight at the partnership, saying, 'We are very happy to have signed this partnership agreement with İstanbul Başakşehir.' Başakşehir Football Club President Göksel Gümüşdağ stated that they are proud of the partnership, saying, 'İstanbul Başakşehir FK, which has achieved many firsts in Turkish football at a young age, has taken a historic step today, both for itself and for Turkish football.' City Football Group CEO Ferran Soriano also expressed his excitement about the partnership, saying, 'Turkey is a passionate football country and we look forward to working with İstanbul Başakşehir on strategic football projects.'
