Göksel Gümüşdağ emphasized the importance of discovering and educating young talents for the development of Turkish football. The Istanbul Başakşehir F.K. football academy will contribute to the physical, mental, and moral development of young players with its modern facilities and expert staff. Göksel Gümüşdağ also thanked Başakşehir Mayor Yasin Kartoğlu for his significant contribution to the construction of the trophy square, which represents the club's Süper Lig championship. The Istanbul Başakşehir F.K. football academy will contribute to the creation of a global football culture. Marco Pezzaiyoli was appointed as the head of the academy. Pezzaiyoli has experience working with the German national team in various age categories and has Bundesliga experience, making him one of the most competent names in football strategy. The Istanbul Başakşehir F.K. football academy was built as a football factory that will produce young and talented stars.
